House in Saijo
I sooooo wanna live there sometime in the future! Like soooooo bad! (:
(Toshiyuki Yano / Photo)In a neighbourhood of similarly designed houses, visitors to this house in Saijo, Japan should never ever confuse themselves as to which one they are going to. Suppose Design Office designed the house as an embedded pyramid to balance openness and privacy. The site was excavated and the excess soil used to build the hill which surrounds the site, while the building itself has few windows to speak of. In terms of openness, the top of the home is open to filter in light, while the base of the pyramid is surrounded by glass windows. Check after the jump for more images. Link

via sharondesigns“The East Village Studio is a tiny apartment that serves owners for both living and working. It has only about 500 square feet of space and made like an open studio.”

Quiero vivir aqui. Se mira bien maravilloso y relajante. Y en lo que esta en el medio de quien sabe donde le da mas asombro.
