They really don’t mind if it breaks. When they return it, they’ll just say, “Well, it must’ve been like that before I borrowed it.”
OMG! This is soooo true. I let one of my old friends borrow a movie of mine. It was brand new. I only watched it once. Once and never scratched it or anything. I asked for it back but she would always say she would bring it and always "forget it at home." She made me so angry the last time i asked for it I told her I was serious. She returned it and then I looked at it and saw a shitload of scratches on it. I was devastated. So I confronted her and told her wtf? She said that it was like that since she got it. I was furious. I knew how it was and her stupid ass shouldn't have lied to me. To this day I think of it as - "Bitch! She still owes me $20 for ruining my movie."
